Jewel (ID# 1780289) is 1 year old, female brown Rhodesian Ridgeback mix weighing 62 pounds. If you are looking for an easy going, super sweet family friendly companion then this is YOUR perfect match! Jewel would be a great walking companion. She loves early mornings or evenings….just be sure not to take her out when the pavement could burn her paws please! As you can see in her picture she also enjoys chilling in a cool quiet area with her human. Got air conditioning? Got a nice patio to share? Jewel is smart already knowing the cue for sit but she says you can teach her more.
Our staff says Jewel is family friendly so younger children or teenagers are fine. She would also be perfect in a mature home. Staff says Jewel is unsure around other dogs—probably never spent time with other dogs so if you have any she has to meet them first. Of course she’s all you need in a companion so she’s just fine being your only dog. Catfather Kitten Adoption Special Comes to Albuquerque
The Catfather is heading to the City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department, and he’s offering kittens that folks can’t refuse. Great kittens are not born great, they become great by loving pet owners. These adorable little guys and girls need loving homes and are just waiting for a family to stop by Lucky Paws or the East or Westside shelters to visit them.
There are so many playful kittens to choose from, that the Catfather of Animal Welfare is offering an adoption special for kittens. The cost of adopting two cuddly kitties is the same as adopting one. And if that were not enough, vaccination, microchipping and spay/neuter are included.
Here’s how it works:
§ Fun-loving kittens that are 6 months and under: $50
§ Kitty Kompanions, a second kitten or cat - is FREE!
The Catfather is asking the members of the community to open their hearts and homes by adopting one or two of these wonderful kitties. Come meet them and see how enjoyable they can be. The special runs through the end of the year or until all the kittens find homes.
