Meet our 'Pet of the Week', Jenn's a 3 yr. old female, Tan & White American Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Jenn is a 3 yr. old female, Tan & White American Pit Bull Terrier Mix weighing 61 Pounds.

Jenn is a super sweet beauty that loves people, taking walks and affection.

She is a bigger dog but walks very nicely on leash actually quite a gentle and mellow gal. She will be a great companion for you on your daily walks. Jenn was found wandering the lonely streets of ABQ just after Valentine’s Day. When she came into Albuquerque Animal Welfare she was a shy girl. It can be kind of scary for a young lady finding herself among strangers and unfamiliar surroundings. She would be happy in a home with people of any age. A mature couple or single person Jenn is eager and ready to meet you. Our staff determined Jenn is family friendly. She could be a wonderful companion to grow up with. Jenn is a bit of a wallflower. We think she hasn’t had much of or the best of experiences with other dogs. She should meet any other dogs in the home prior to adoption. Jenn says she’d be perfectly happy to be your one and only. She just wants love, a safe home and a warm place to sleep...perhaps at the foot of your bed? It appears sweet Jenn’s only encounter with another dog left her single mom with puppies. She’s ready for the good life now. Daily walks, devoted best friend and her very own person or family.  Come meet this lovely sweetheart at our Eastside shelter, 8920 Lomas Blvd NE. Any of her volunteer or staff BFF’s will be happy to help with introductions.
