Police Searching For Man Who Bit Pinky Off Bar Security Guard

Police in New York City are asking the public for help identifying a man who bit the pinky finger off of a security guard outside of a bar in Queens. Officials say that the man walked up to the El California Sports Bar around 4 a.m. and tried to go inside. The security guard told him the bar was closed and that he was locking up for the night.

The suspect reacted angrily to the news and the two men began to argue. The argument quickly escalated to violence and the suspect bit the guard's pinky off before running away. The 37-year-old security guard was taken to the hospital where surgeons were able to reattach his finger.

After failing to locate the man, authorities released surveillance camera footage hoping to track him down. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man with dark hair and a goatee and was last seen wearing jeans, black boots and a black jacket with the word "Japan" on the back.
