Wendy Williams' Divorce Drama Heats Up After She Steps Out With New Man

Wendy Williams may have a new man, but she's still got to deal with drama with her estranged husband.

Just days after the talk show host stepped out with her much younger new flame, sources close to her soon-to-be ex Kevin Hunter claimed he is fuming after Wendy accused him of keeping her in the house while they were together.

As previously reported, Wendy spoke to TMZ while out and about with her 27-year-old convicted felon boyfriend Marc Tomblin earlier this week. When asked what she thought of Marc's criminal past, Wendy shaded her estranged husband, saying "I am a 54-year-old grown ass woman. I know what I’m doing. Look, my husband had a full baby with a woman he was involved with for 15 years… where I was cooped up only to be a show pony. Now, I'm living my life."

Days after Wendy's comments, sources close to Kevin told TMZ, Wendy chose to stay "cooped up." Adding, "Wendy orchestrated her schedule and chose, primarily, to do her talk show and go home." The insider claims "Kevin feels Wendy just didn't want to hit red carpet events or put in any effort outside of the on-camera work for her show." However, a source close to Wendy disputed Kevin's claims, calling Kevin "extremely controlling and sneaky" during his marriage to the 54-year-old talk show host, and "nothing he says is the truth."

While Wendy and Kevin remain at odds, TMZ recently reported that Wendy is "having a blast getting to know" her young new boy toy Marc and even extended his trip to NYC. "Marc, who met Wendy in Cali, was supposed to head home Thursday, but she's keeping him around," the site reports.

As fans know, Wendy filed for divorce from her husband of 22 years, Kevin in April — a decision that was reportedly sparked by his alleged longtime mistress having his child in March.
