Dave East Cited For Battery On A Woman After Threesome Gone Wrong

Dave East is facing a battery charge after a recent trip to Sin City.

According to TMZ, the 31-year-old rapper was cited last weekend in Las Vegas after cops interviewed multiple witnesses about an altercation he and two women allegedly got into following his appearance at Drai's Nightclub Saturday night (September 14).

In the police report, which was obtained by the gossip outlet, Dave is said to have "invited two women back to his room at the Delano hotel and started having sex with them." The rapper claimed that "one woman was upset he wasn't giving her as much attention and flipped out." He told cops "she started hurling champagne bottles at him from across the room," and two of the bottles hit him in the head, leaving cuts, which cops saw, on his arm and leg.

However, the woman involved in the alleged altercation told authorities a different story. She claimed that "in the middle of the sexual encounter, she and Dave got into an argument, and he threw punches 5-6 times, with one hitting her arm." She said she then ran to the bathroom to call cops, making no mention of bottles being thrown.

A third woman, who entered the room once the argument started, claimed that "Dave was the aggressor." While Dave's friend, another witness, said he only saw the woman throwing bottles. Being that it was a "he-said, she-said" situation, both parties were cited for misdemeanor battery, but nobody was arrested, TMZ reports.

Dave's attorney, Stacey Richman, additionally told the outlet that the woman also threw a soap dispenser at her client, but Dave didn't respond with violence. Adding that he was only concerned for everyone's safety. She claims Dave "justifiably" took the woman "by the arm and put her out of the room," denying that he assaulted anyone. Stacey noted that Dave was the one who had to get a CAT scan after the alleged incident, per doctor's orders, and they are waiting on the results.
