Dwyane Wade Slams Trolls for Criticizing His Parenting

NBA 2K20: Welcome to the Next

Internet trolls have had a lot to say about Dwyane Wade’s family photo, but he has finally given them a response. Earlier this week on Thanksgiving, Gabrielle Union posted a photo of her family together on the stairway. While Wade held their 1-year-old daughter, Kaavia, Union and Zion (Wade’s second oldest child) posed alongside. Viewers took issue with Zions image as a crop top and artistic nails were in plain sight.

“Grateful ❤❤❤ Happy Thanksgiving good people. To all the friends and family that have my back and all the friends and family I've never met who show love and support when everyone is looking and when no one is looking...All praise, gratitude and thankfulness,” Gabrielle captioned the photo.

The image was enough to bring trolls out to once again criticize Wade’s parenting.

"I’ve seen some post-thanksgiving hate on social about my family photo. Stupidity is apart of this world we live in -- so i get it. But here’s the thing -- I’ve been chosen to lead my family not y’all. So we will continue to be us and support each other with pride, love & a smile! ✌🏾," Wade tweeted on Saturday.

During an interview with Variety, Wade said that whatever Zion wishes to do - it is not Wade’s story to tell.

“I don't really talk about it much because it’s Zion’s story to tell," he told Variety. "I think as a family, we should support each other. That's our job. And my job as a father is to facilitate their lives and to support them and be behind them in whatever they want to do."
