On going protests nationwide continue to fight for justice for George Floyd.
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison announced on Wednesday that his office is escalating the charges against Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin to second-degree-murder, while also announcing charges of aiding and abetting for the other three officers involved in the incident.
The fight for justice is far from over.
Breonna Taylor, who was an EMT on the frontlines during our current coronavirus pandemic, is another Black life who fell victim to police brutality. Around midnight on March 13th police broke down her door and shot her 8 times, no evidence of a crime was ever uncovered.
