Solo (ID# 1717351) is 4 year old, male brindle Catahoula Leopard Hound& Australian Cattle dog mix weighing 44 pounds. This super handsome guy is gentle, mellow, a little shy but talented! Just look at his picture—he is smiling! Solo came to us when his parent had knee surgery and felt he could no longer take care of Solo. What a sad situation for both of them. Solo thinks the shelter is not a fun place—it’s loud and he can’t be with people enough. He’s ready for a true forever home—maybe one on the calmer side. Solo is easy on leash and has a cute little skip to his stride. He’s a perfect walking partner. So smart--he knows sit and down very well and is eager to show you for a treat or some petting and affection. Our staff says Solo will be good with children 10 and over since he’s just a little shy. Staff has taken Solo out to play with another dog. It seems he prefers those not overly active and pushy.
