Evan Osnoshas taken to Twitter in a desperate plea for help after his son repeatedly entered the wrong password into the iPad thus causing it to lock up. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem...except for the fact that the boy did it so many times the screen on the iPad said that heshould try back again in the year 2067.
The iPad lockout is a security feature of Apple devices that kicks in whenever someone repeatedly types the wrong password. The more times an incorrect password is entered, the longer the lock-out time grows.
So what does Apple suggest? They say he would need to perform a system restore to use the device again (but you would lose the data on the device if you've never backed it up) or he can simply wait til 2067 to try again.
So, does that mean this kid is grounded?
