MTV shared some rare footage of Aaliyah from their archives.
The video is of Aaliyah talking about her final album Aaliyah which was released 18 years ago this week.
MTV tweeted the clip from Aaliyah's Diary episode.
Aaliyah died one month after her self-titled album was released. The interview originally aired two weeks before her tragic plane crash.
