He might not be able to pay his taxes, but DMX is still doing good for the community.
DMX was in Maine for a concert over the Labor Day weekend and he made a pit stop at the Maine Mall. While doing some shopping, the rapper took the time to give back to a family that was back to school shopping at a Journey’s store.
As Nikki Cutchens and her daughter Grace were getting ready to check out, DMX, who was at the next register, offered to pay for their shoes.
"They're technically his shoes. That's what I'm going to say. I have DMX's shoes,” said Grace.
DMX told the Grace and her mother that he “was blessed to have 15 children” and he wanted them to “be blessed too.” Grace will start 7th grade this week, DMX also bought shoes for her sister who attends college in Portland.
What an awesome thing to do!
