Who Has the Best Beef Jerky in New Mexico?

The first annual New Mexico State Fair Beef Jerky Showdown took over the New Mexico State Fair.

10 local beef jerky vendors from across the state competed to win the popular vote of over 400 people’s choice judges. Vendors were asked to sample just two flavors of jerky; salt & pepper, and green chile. From 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., fairgoers had the opportunity to sample the two flavors of jerkies from each vendor, 20 samples total, and cast their vote for their favorite of both flavors.

The people voted. Here are the winners:

Green Chile – Mike’s Jerky - Albuquerque
